Emily Filler was born in Ottawa, Ontario in 1982.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours from Queen's University in 2005.  She started to draw and paint at an early age and was greatly influenced as a child by her frequent visits to her father's gallery in Ottawa.  Emily has taken part in many exhibitions in Ontario and is now painting in Toronto at her studio in The Distillery District
